My name is Katie Slay
I am a painter, sculptor, and all around artist. I love any type of creative outlet and I love to be inspired by people, emotions, nature, words, animals, and photographs.
I started selling my art in High School when I drew portraits of people, children, lovers, photos, whatever ....I also painted a large mural of an underwater scene for one of my teachers in her class room and got offers to paint on the side of trucks and businesses...I did a few restaurants and then got involved in art school.
I now paint for my friends, do rock sculpture for my own lucious pleasure and try to squeak in creativity any way possible around my busy life full of kids, work, husband and the daily grind. I love the gift God has given me to create anything I can think up, and I will always use it for His Glory and be proud of the wonderful things it has brought into my life.
